on july 12, dsic 8th session of skill contest of practical operation for welders and ship electricians kicked off, where 75 players standing out of theory test attended the practical operation contest.
at the contest of practical operation for welders, all players are requested to accomplish test contents of electric arc welding overturned plate butt welding, co2 shielded welding and piping butt welding in 2 hours, where key point is aimed to check their technical variety and proficiency in welding. meanwhile, test contents of equipment power-on commissioning and system troubleshooting are added at the contest of practical operation for ship electricians. namely, the players must accomplish error check and correction to achieve electrification of real electrical circuit in specified time after site experts defining marks and appraisal for their diagram error checks and questions & answers.
the real operation contest of the two working types held smoothly has laid a solid foundation for successful accomplishment of the whole dsic skill contest.
