on mar. 9, it only took dsic 88 hours to complete all the sea trial items of no.8 8800teu container vessel successfully, which has set up a record of shortest sea trial period in this series of vessels, indicating that dsic has reached a new level in building this type of vessels.
during construction of this project, dsic has kept summing up the building experience in this series of vessels, under innovative thinking, well planning and scientific construction, paid much attention to pre-trial integrity, and shifted part of sea trial items ahead to complete during mooring. in the meantime, project team, general assembly department and design institute have communicated with the shipowners and surveyors timely in a concerted effort so as to optimize the sea trial program, define the testing methods and stages, and draw up the sea trial plan scientifically and rationally. during the sea trial, various departments involved in sea trial have worked closely for preparation for the testing items so as to ensure all items in order and tight connection, which has laid a solid foundation for the vessel having achieved a record of 88 hours, the shortest sea trial period in this series of vessels.
