the melody in august is resounding and unrestrained, and the rhythm in august is sonorous and thumping. to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the founding of the pla and demonstrate the water-and-fish relationship between site naval officers and dsic, dsic held an army-civilian performance on aug.1, where more than 100 cast members including site naval officers and dsic literary backbones singing and dancing together, have composed a moving chapter of army-civilian unity. there were more than 500 persons viewing the performance, including site naval officers and dsic leaders liu zheng, han hui, ding yi and part of dsic staff as well.
the dance of dancing lion rising unveiled the curtain of the performance; the cross talk of blind date was humorous but touching; the modern dance of youth variation showed positive spirituality of dsic staff; the songs of god bless china and set sail towards deep blue were graceful and powerful to show magnificent bearing of naval officers; the poetry recitation of look up to you, army flag was passionate; the night before joining the army and war song of powerful army played the electro-band were magnificent and vigorous to show true naval soldiers, brave and invincible; the song with dance of co-build china dream pushed the performance to a climax…… the whole performance was brilliant and under constant climaxes, receiving with applause of the audience from time to time, taking on a warm scene of all the army and the people in one family.
dsic chairman and party secretary liu zheng said in his speech, he was thumping and his heart was rising and falling like waves when viewing the army-civilian performance. the programs performed by naval officers embodied their spirit daring to play and meet challenge ahead while dsic staff expressed deep affection to naval officers by means of songs and dances. in the course of dsic’s development over decades of years, dsic has established deep friendship with naval officers in mutual collaboration. facing the future, dsic will further consolidate and develop army-civilian relationship and truly do well in mutual support between the two parties; further inherit revolutionary traditions and develop greater glory so as to make greater contributions to naval equipment construction.
